Sound familiar?

If any of this sounds like your month, this is the area you are in.

  • You are months behind and the gap keeps growing.
  • Your reports do not match what your bank says.
  • Your accountant keeps asking for things you cannot find.
  • The close takes so long that by the time you see a number it is stale.
  • Payroll, bills and invoices all live in different places.

None of that is a character flaw. It is an unowned process.

What we actually do

Nine recurring jobs, done every month, in the same order.

Financial Management is not a monthly report emailed to you. It is the set of processes that produce a report worth reading.

  • 01

    Bookkeeping and accounting

Every transaction recorded correctly and kept current, so the books reflect what the business actually did.

  • 02

    Bank and credit card reconciliations

Every account matched to its statement each month, so a discrepancy surfaces in weeks rather than at tax time.

  • 03

    Monthly close

The recurring processes that close the period properly, so each month can be compared with the last.

  • 04

    Financial statements

A profit and loss and a balance sheet, on time, in a form you can read without a translator.

  • 05

    Financial reporting and analysis

The trends, changes and pressure points behind the statements. Depth increases with your level.

  • 06

    Payroll management

Recurring payroll runs and the financial activity around them, coordinated and recorded.

  • 07

    Accounts payable and receivable

What you owe and what you are owed, tracked, scheduled and chased before it becomes a cash flow problem.

  • 08

    Class, location and program tracking

Financial tracking structured so you can see the parts of the business, or the programs of the organization, separately.

  • 09

    Financial systems and process management

The systems and recurring workflows that make all of the above accurate and repeatable.

Three levels

Three levels. You can see exactly what changes between them.

Every level includes the accounting foundation. What increases as you move up is the depth of the reporting and how much of the financial operation we take on.

Level 02 · Most chosen

Momentum

For a growing business where invoices, bills and multiple revenue streams have outgrown a simple monthly statement.

Level 03

Command

For an established business or organization with complex financial operations that need managing rather than just recording.

Scroll the table sideways on a phone. Nothing is hidden.

Available means we can add it to that level for an agreed fee. Included means it is part of the level.

The part people underrate

Every client gets more than statements.

Standard reporting tells you what happened. Enhanced reporting tells you what changed and where it came from. Advanced reporting tells you which parts of the business are carrying the others.

We expect technology, including AI, to keep making this analysis sharper. What you are buying is the quality of the insight, not the software that helped produce it.

Behind on your books? Start here.

If the books are behind, incomplete or you no longer trust them, cleaning them up is its own project. It is priced separately, it is finished before ongoing work begins, and it is the way most of our Financial Management clients started.

Three minutes

Tell us the shape of your business.

Answer these and we come back with a level, a scope and a fixed monthly price. If a cleanup has to happen first, we say so and price that separately.

Priced on volume and complexity, not on a guess.

Two businesses on the same level can be very different amounts of work. We scope yours from the number of accounts, the transaction volume, the payroll, and how many parts of the business need tracking separately. You get a fixed monthly fee before you commit to anything.

The scoping questions below take about three minutes. There is no obligation attached to answering them.

Everything here is required unless it says optional.

KWM is an awesome company. They are very good at coming in and helping to take the day to day workload off of the team so that they can focus on more revenue generating activities.

Questions

Answered before you ask.

Every question we get, in one place

What is included at every level?

Bookkeeping and accounting, bank and credit card reconciliations, monthly close, and financial statements. Financial reporting and analysis increases from Standard to Enhanced to Advanced.

How is Financial Management priced?

Pricing is scoped around the volume, complexity and financial operations of your business. We put the scope and price in writing before work begins.

What is the difference between catch up and cleanup?

Catch up brings missing or overdue periods current. Cleanup corrects inaccurate or unreliable records. A project can include both, and it can be purchased without ongoing support.

Do you handle payroll?

Payroll management is available with Foundation and included with Momentum and Command. Standalone payroll support is also available through Add On Services.

Can you track by class, location or program?

Class, location and program tracking is included with Momentum and Command. The scope is built around the reporting your business needs.

Do you work with nonprofits?

Yes. Nonprofit Financial Management includes support for accurate records, fund and grant reporting, and the financial information leadership and boards need.
